In 2017, DDOT completed an update to the DC Circulator Transit Development Plan. The Plan looked at each line and made system recommendations. Slide 3 of 14

To meet performance standards on the Potomac-Skyland route, DDOT is proposing major service changes that will enhance and alter current service options in the area. Slide 5 of 14

Proposed Potomac-Skyland Route Changes 1. Circulator would realign service to Congress Heights, providing a new connection between Congress Heights and Union Station. Slide 7 of 14
Proposed Potomac-Skyland Route Changes 2. Circulator would increase service from 5 to 7 days a week from 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM year round 3. The route would offer new connections at Union Station with two other Circulator routes and Metrorail. Slide 8 of 14
Proposed Potomac-Skyland Route Change 4. The Circulator would take over the existing Metrobus 94 route between Anacostia Metro station and Congress Heights. 5. The route would travel on MLK Jr. Avenue through Historic Anacostia, over the 11 th Street bridge, and up 8 th Street and Massachusetts Avenue to Union Station. Slide 9 of 14

The changes would allow us—working with Metro— to improve bus service in Wards 7 and 8, including: 1. We will increase service on the 92 from every 10-15 minutes to every 10 minutes during rush hour 2. We will extend U8 service to Congress Heights during rush hour, to reduce crowding and provide new connections Slide 11 of 14
