Testing (UAT) Results Issue: Not able to search for spouse by SSN or Registry number (can only search by Name) Solution: Vendor is working to fix this issue and should be fixed by the time we go to Production Issue: Once reports are exported to PDF, the formatting is not user friendly Solution: Vendor has fixed some of them and is continuing to fix others Issue: Some of the reports didn’t require date parameters until after you requested to run the report ✓ Solution: Vendor has fixed Issue: There were some typos with the offices and the district sorting was not correct ✓ Solution: Vendor fixed these issues
Testing (UAT) Results Issue: Some of the required fields were not marked for the Adhoc Request so could submit the request without them ✓ Solution: Vendor has fixed Issue: There were some user roles that were able to view data in the Portal that should not be accessible to their role ✓ Solution: Vendor has fixed Issue: When viewing some of the test applicants, some users were getting an error “Contact System Administrator” Solution: Vendor fixed as they were reported and was because of some of the updates to the District/Office structure within the Portal
Go-Live • AVS is on schedule to go-live December 31 st , 2018. • Staff who have attended training by then will be expected to start using the AVS Portal • Central Office will do batch processing for redeterminations starting in January (for redeterminations due in February)
AVS Informational Flyer Asset Verification Service (AVS) for Medicaid Recipients Beginning in January 2019, Aging and People with Disabilities (APD) and Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) offices will use an electronic Asset Verification Service (AVS) to verify financial resources for Medicaid recipients. This r esource verification is through a secure web-based portal that retrieves information from banking institutions and real property records nationwide.
