Industry Based Learning (IBL) A joint venture between Monash Faculty of IT and employers to offer our students relevant, paid industry placements.

IBL Overview Selective entry – academic hurdle 70 average, must be selected by partners for the program and for a placement 1 or 2 x 22 week placements depending on degree / major Each placement counts towards your degree (3 units) Students on placement receive a $17,000 tax free scholarship for each placement Most IBL graduating students receive job offers well before degree completion! Industry Experience Projects (IE) “The real thing about the Industry Experience subject is that it brings together all the knowledge and skills we have developed over our 3 years of study at Monash University, and allows us to apply them to a real situation. Life skills, friendships, technical knowledge and application - the subject provided by Monash delivers everything the title promises, a rewarding industry experience. ” IE Student
