  4. 2020/2021 ROUND TIMING Level E committee 28 May Information Level C 4 June & Sessions committee 11 June 2021 September March 2021 3 July 2021* 5 Oct – 13 Nov 2020 April/early May 2021 Effective date of Round Open Level D committee successful promotion (*salary increase for 2020 round will be effective 3 July or when the EA variation ceases)

CRITERIA FOR PROMOTION You must satisfy the promotion committee that you have, in accordance with the academic performance framework: been a sustained high performer at the current level of appointment; and • the capacity to perform satisfactory at the level to which promotion is sought. • In addition, you must demonstrate that you will make an ongoing and positive contribution to, and fit within, the academic unit. ∆ The period under consideration is the period since your appointment/promotion to your current level. ∆ This can include achievements at a previous institution at your current level.
