 Burlington is a Bicycle Friendly Community (Share the Road Coalition)!  We have close to 200km of cycling facilities, including: • 48 km of bike lanes • 47.3 km of bike route streets • 6.4 km of bike lane/sharrow streets • 11.7 km of paved shoulders • 52.5 km of multi-use paths adjacent to the road • 31.6 km of paved off-road, multi-use paths

Bike Rack Giveaway Program The City of Burlington recognizes the bottom-line benefits of businesses becoming more bike friendly for their customers and employees . This year the City of Burlington is offering a FREE bike rack (valued at $600 each) to the first 15 Burlington businesses that provide proof they have applied for a Share The Road Bike Friendly Business Award.
