  5. The Goal The ultimate goal is to provide an evaluation of the EMS system level using aggregate data that explains the impact of Washington County EMS performance

  6. Data should provide perspective for strategic planning for: 1. EMS agencies: Training/Education, Response Resources including personnel, hard equipment, supplies, etc. 2. The EMS System: Regulatory/Accreditation Process, Clinical and Operational Protocols 3. Healthcare Systems: As they interface with EMS 4. Public Health: CHA/CHIP

  9. Membership • Washington County QI Committee Rep: – EMS Agencies in WC – Hospital – Life Flight – WCCCA • Chaired by WC Medical Direction – Co-chair WC QI & Education Coordinator

  10. Meeting Structure • Meet quarterly to review data and develop key performance indicators (KPI) • KPI developed by national standards or best practice when national standards are not available
