WASTE WATER SMALL-SCALE SLUDGE WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT NANOREMEDIATION SEDIMENT PROCESS GOAL: ZERO SOLID PURIFIED WASTE SYSTEM WATER
WHAT? A water suspension containing iron oxide nano particles with adsorbed pollutants from water. WHERE TO USE IT? - Embankment, - Concrete, - Cement. HOW TO USE IT? - Dry it first, - Use it as suspension.
How does the addition of sediment from nanoremediation process effect concrete properties? - Fresh concrete properties, - Concrete strength and durability, - Environmental issues. MIXTURE CONTENT OF CONTENT OF DRY SUSPENSION [kg/m 3 ] MATERIAL [kg/m 3 ] LABEL R-0 (ETALON) 0 0 R-1 7 0,5 R-2 180 12,1

CONCLUSIONS • Addition of the sediment does not deteriorate concrete properties significantly. • Heavy metals remediated from water are tied in cement matrix and do not cause environmental problems. • It is possible to use sediment from nanoremediation process in concrete as a water suspension. • It is possible to treat water without solid waste. + THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!
