CCP at Local Colleges & Universities
Columbus State offers College Credit Plus courses online, on campus, and in several high schools (embedded). To participate in CCP at CSCC, please complete the following steps: Step 1 Complete online College Credit Plus application for semester of choice • Use your legal name and an email address that you check regularly because your Cougar ID# will be sent via email) Step 2 Submit ACT or SAT scores OR take Reading and Writing Accuplacer/ALEKS Math test • ALEKS Math required if planning to take Math/Science course • You must have your CougarID as well as a photo ID to take placement tests ACT code is 3261 ★ ★ SAT code is 1148 Step 3 Register for eligible courses via your CSCC advisor • Consent form and registration form required for all on campus or online courses) Important note: Columbus State is an open admission institution. All students who apply to Columbus State gain admission to the college. However, students must meet all course prerequisites to take classes. Students who do not meet course prerequisites will not be eligible to take certain courses.

Athletic Eligibility Student athletes should: 1. Confirm their school is an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) member 2. Learn the OHSAA requirements • Each student-athlete must be enrolled in 5 solid courses to participate. • Each 3-semester hour college course counts as two solids for athletic eligibility.
