Phone  Overseas phone plan vs local SIM card  Use airplane mode and wifi within hotel (if you don’t need to be available for calls)  Consider a portable wifi device  Ensure your phone is fully charged at the time of deplaning  Carry all charging cords and a portable charger in your carry- on

Care of Cash, Cards & Passport Only carry photo ID, one credit card, medical  insurance card, hotel card and what cash you need that day PUT IN HOTEL SAFE: passport, another credit  card, debit card, remainder of your cash and $200 USD (to get out of jam) and all other cards Exception: some countries require you to carry  your passport on your person (ie: China) Copy cards (front and back) and passport and  leave a copy at home (in case lost or stolen) Program the number to cancel credit card into  your phone
