Presentations 1 2 Meeting Date: July 10, 2019 3 4 5 TOWN OF MORAGA STAFF REPORT 6 7 To: Honorable Mayor and Councilmembers 8 9 From: Norm Veloso, Administrative Services Director 10 11 Subject: Presentation on the Fiscal Year 2019/20 Budget at a Glance 12 13 Background 14 15 The Fiscal Year 2019/20 Budget at a Glance document is a condensed version of the 16 Fiscal Year 2019/20 Operating and Capital Improvement Program Budgets originally 17 presented and adopted by the Town Council at the June 26, 2019 regular meeting. The 18 document is designed to assist the community in gaining a better understanding of the 19 Town’s fiscal priorities and activities and provides information to increase public 20 understanding. 21 22 Overall, this document is a tool for transparency about the Town’s finances and 23 promotes public trust and confidence in the Town’s stewardship of taxpayer dollars. 24 25 This “Budget at a Glance” is scheduled to be distributed in the July 24 issue of the 26 Lamorinda Weekly. The estimated cost is $2,600 which includes $2,200 to print and 27 fold 7,200 copies and $400 for distribution.
