WHERE VEDAS WERE WRITTEN The Vedas are a large body of knowledge texts originating in the ancient Indian subcontinent. Historians are originating these Vedas from Indus Valley.   3. Sindh a Culturally Rich from History The roots of Sindhi culture go back to the distant past. Archaeological research during 19th and 20th centuries showed the roots of social life, religion and culture of the people of the Sindh: their agricultural practices, traditional arts and crafts, customs and tradition and other parts of social life, going back to a mature Indus Valley Civilization of the third millennium BC.   4. Sindh (Potential of Tourism) Sindh has numerous tourist attractions which includes 5000 years old ancient site of Mohen-jo-Daro near the city of Larkana. Islamic architecture is quite prominent in the Province with the Jama Masjid in Thatta built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan and numerous mausoleums dot the province including shrines of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai a mystic poet and Shahbaz Qalander mausoleum dedicated to the Iranian-born Sufi. Shrines of Sufi saints attract thousands of devotees from all over the world. Apart from attraction of historic, many scenic lakes like Keenjhar Manchhar and Haleji, the beaches of Karachi, geographical diversity of deserts like Thar & Umerkot, and temperate hill station sites at Gorakh Hills and Bado Jabal (mountain) have potential to become tourist attractions in Sindh.   9. MOHENJO-DARO (World Heritage Site) Mohenjo-daro is an archaeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2500 BCE, it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley civilization, and one of the world’s earliest major cities, contemporaneous with the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Minoan Crete, and Norte Chico. Mohenjo-daro was abandoned in the 19th century BCE as the Indus Valley Civilization declined, and the site was not rediscovered until the 1920s. It is one of UNESCO’s declared world heritage site. MAKLI NECROPOLIS (World Heritage Site) Makli Necropolis is one of the largest funerary sites in the world, spread over an area of 10 square kilometres near the city of Thatta, in the Pakistani province of Sindh. The site houses approximately 500,000 to 1 million tombs built over the course of a 400 year period. Makli Necropolis features several large funerary monuments belonging to royalty, various Sufi saints, and esteemed scholars. The site was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981 as an "outstanding testament" to Sindhi civilization between the 14th and 18th centuries. SINDH TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

  11. FORT OF RANIKOT, JAMSHORO Ranikot Fort is a historical fort near Sann, Jamshoro District, Sindh, Pakistan. Ranikot Fort is also known as The Great Wall of Sindh and is believed to be the world’s largest fort with a circumference of approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi).
