2017 We concentrated on issues people were telling us about in the self advocacy meetings having their being disability discriminated highlighted against debt and loan sharks

We also …. Worked on Darent Valley Hospital website Held a Stay up Late Disco Ran “Representing Yourself and Others” training workshops for self advocates

2018 We concentrated on, Abuse, Scams, Loneliness and Friendships Domestic Abuse, The Moan and Groan Group and the Buddy Group Friendship abuse encourages We made this film for Kent Police people to make friends and who use it for conferences socialise with each other in and training the evening and weekends especially those who live Trading standards asked us to make their independently new scam campaign leaflets and booklets easy read

2019 We have concentrated on Voting (European and local elections), Making Easy Read Information leaflets and Health Issues We held a diabetes awareness We done a lot of work with workshop and a healthy people so they understood both eating day, the European Elections and Local Council Elections We have produced easy read information leaflets for Darent Valley Hospital and we are just finishing a SEPSIS poster for World SEPSIS day.

Ran workshops on confidence building and self-esteem Held a Film Premiere showing the films we had made in 2017/2018 Had information stalls at Darent Valley Hospital Supported Linda and Sam to run the Book Beyond Words group in Swale Started working on The Hidden Gems booklet Started working on the Box of Bits Produced Kent Savers Easy Read Leaflets

In the next six months we are organising Dementia Awareness Workshop How the Job Centre can help you and Internet Safety Training and We are speaking at a conference for Letting Agents and Landlords on how they can help their tenants who have learning disabilities

We are applying for funding for the buddy group. Our aim is in the future we are working towards supporting the members of the group to learn to organise and run the group themselves.

We would continue to support the NHS and Darent Valley Hospital H.A.P.I Hospital Access and Planning and Ideas Group Easy Read Information Supporting with the NHS Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment

We are planning a community concert for next September in Swale. We already have some local bands and the rock choir interested in taking part. (Music Matters)

Buddy Group Applying for funding The funding will pay for supporting people to learn how to run the group for themselves in the future.
