InTec: A Project-Based Approach InTec is a branch of the high school located at the Walker Center near the Spokane Industrial Park. The main goal is to prepare students for post-secondary education and the world of work. Learning is accomplished without books and in a way that students use hands-on methods of learning while seeing real-world applications to what they are learning. Students attend InTec for 1 st and 2 nd period then take a shuttle to the high school for a 3 rd period elective and lunch, then return to InTec for 4 th -6 th . Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities and athletics at the main high school campus.

We will try to give you your 1 st choice, but we need alternatives if the classes fill up.
Zero Hour Options & Advisory Place an on a box if you are interested. Place the name of your current Advisory Teacher here. You can choose to take a Zero Hour (before school starts). Prerequisites or Teacher Recommendation is REQUIRED. May require an audition for Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Choir, or Strolling Strings.
Running Start & Skill Center Running Start: By choosing this option, students are allowed to take college classes and earn credits that apply toward both your high school graduation and toward a college degree. Any students that are interested are required to attend the Running Start Information Night. For more information, please work with your counselor. Skill Center: By choosing this option, students attend 3 hours in the morning session or 3 hours in the afternoon session at either Spokane Valley Tech or NewTech Skill Center. These programs offer training for a variety of traditional and non- traditional occupational opportunities of interest to students regardless of gender. Students will complete required subjects at EVHS and travel to the Skill Center for the advanced vocational training. Upon completion, students may choose to work using their entry-level skills or continue their education.
