FAO and RFBs ▪ FAO has committed to: – provide its technical and administrative support to its own RFBs to strengthening their effectiveness – promote collaboration and consultation among all RFBs or arrangements on matters of common concern – facilitate meetings of RFB and RFMOs – cooperate to report on status and trends of fisheries – report to, and liaise with the United Nations and other international and regional organizations regarding collecting and disseminating information – assist in the process of establishing new RFBs • host and support the Regional Fishery Body Secretariats’ Network (RSN)
