What is GNSSN? GNSSN • human network operating at global, regional and national levels, supported by a strong web platform. • a key support element of the Global Nuclear Safety and Security Framework (GNSSF) defined here as “the institutional, legal and technical framework for ensuring the safety of nuclear installations throughout the world. • Share information and knowledge, facilitate multilateral cooperation and coordination and capacity building. “ provide a gateway to sharing nuclear safety and security knowledge and IAEA services by making resources visible and available to all affiliated safety and security related networks .”
The global nuclear safety and security framework- GNSSF Based on INSAG 21 • GNSSN is considered as the means to sustain the implementation of the international legal framework and focuses on assisting Member States to meet their national responsibilities as well as their international obligations
