Tuesday 11 th - Spring born children ( if your child’s birthday falls between 2 nd January and 21 st April they are classed as a ‘spring born’.) Wednesday 12 th - All children in school. ( Children born between Sept 1 st and 1 st January are classed as ‘autumn born’.)

School Uniform Please label all school uniform, coats and P.E. kit. P.E. kit needs to be brought to school on the first day of term, and can stay in school until the end of each half term. We will endeavour to go outside whenever possible. Please make sure children bring weather-suitable clothing each day (wellies, raincoat, sun cream, hats etc …)
Drop off and pick up times MORNING – Playground gates open at 8.40am Classroom doors open at 8.50am AFTERNOON – The gates will be opened at 3.10pm Children will come out at 3.20pm
Drop off and pick up times If somebody other than yourself will be collecting your child, please let us know. Please bear with us for the first few days as we familiarise ourselves with your faces. Parking – the school car park is for teaching staff only. Please park responsibly and safely.
Absence ◆ If your child is poorly and is going to be absent, please phone Mrs Cooper in the office before the start of the school day. She will make a note in the register. ◆ If we don ’ t receive a phone call from you, Mrs Cooper will telephone home to find out if everything is ok.
School Lunch Monday, Tuesday, Pick and Mix Wednesday Hot school dinner Home packed lunch Thursday and Friday Hot school dinner Packed lunch from home. For the first half term, we will put a sign up sheet outside our classroom door for you to indicate what option you would like your child to have each day. At the current time, all children in Reception up to Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal each day. Things may change regarding universal free school meals and if you think you would be entitled to a free school meal anyway, please speak to Mrs Cooper in the office as soon as possible.

How can parents help? • Encourage independence. • Be confident handing over to the teachers as quickly as possible. • Prompt arrival and collection. • Early bedtimes / minimal after school activities. • Use the online Learning Journey to share information. • Please see information pack for more details on how you can help prepare your child for school (“Reception Readiness” and “School Readiness” posters.) • Please return all paper work by 3 rd July!
