  1. “The case i almost converted” a video presentation on Single port VATS 6th Asian Single port VATS Symposium (APSVS) 2018 March 23-24, 2018 Introduction It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the Video-Based Education Program of the APSVS. This video session is open to all registered participants with Single port VATS cases that nearly necessitated an open surgery due to either the complexity, technical difficulty, anatomic variations or in the management of intraoperative complications. This is your chance to interact with our renowned panel of experts as well as practitioners of single port VATS from all over the world. Submitted videos will be screened and reviewed by a technical panel within the Scientific committee of the APSVS for relevance and compliance to the technical requirements. Accepted videos will be played repeatedly at the the video room through out the symposium and it will likewise be presented orally to the expert panel at the ASPVS Video symposium on March 24, 2018. Guidelines of videos for submission: (1) 5 to 7 minute video in AVI, MOV or MPEG-4 format (2) Only clear, good quality videos produced in a professional manner will be considered. Videos submitted in a unacceptable format or poor quality will be returned since it cannot be reviewed. (3) The video should include the title of the video, name of surgeon(s), institution where the surgery was performed, and city and country on the first screen of the production (4) Salient features of case to include patient age, sex, diagnosis, x-ray, CT images & other diagnostic work-ups (5) Patient positioning, port placement and operating room set up must be briefly described (6) Only salient parts of the intraoperative videos such as pertinent anatomy and surgical technique should be included (7) Patient outcome and pertinent histopathology report must be included at the conclusion of the video (8) All videos must include a clear English narration (voice over). No surrounding noises nor back ground music. The video must connect the voice narration to images or videos shown. Videos submitted without narration will be returned to the author. (9) Labelling of anatomic structures and orientation is strongly encouraged

(10) The surgeon or any member of the surgical team must be physically present during the oral presentation to the expert panel (11) A 3-minute question & answer shall follow after the oral presentation (12) An online form that includes the name and contact details of the surgeon/ presenter, institution where the surgery was performed, city and country as well as a clinical abstract not exceed 250 words to describe the case. (13) Patient privacy must be maintained at all times. The online form as well as a 5-minute video abstract will be accepted thru we transfer. An email notification will be provided to confirm the receipt of the videos. Video files are the exclusive property of the owner and shall never be used outside the APSVS with out the owner’s consent.
