Strengthen Organizational Devt. Capacity • More projects – ISDSM, MSL, MBM, UNFPA I.P, 50,000 HB • TAMA Staff continue to grow to 7 now - full time • Strengthen partnership & networks – ICM, Leardal Global Health, UNFPA, MoH, TNMC, AGOTA, MEWATA, Pediatric Association etc. • 5 Long-term CUSO volunteer support (Advocacy, communication, M&E, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion)
Organizational Devt. Capacity • Adaptation, development & dissemination of National Basic Midwifery competencies • Dialogue with policy makers (stop midwifery certificate program, re-instate BSc. Midwifery program) • Review of TAMA docs (constitution, S.P, Financial etc.)
Strengthen Midwifery Services • Training manuals developed • MEST – (focus on Competencies, RMC & Referral protocol) • More than 600 midwives trained • 20 + 24 TOT’s (44) • 39 Mentors • Conduct meeting with other stakeholders working on RMNCH

Public and Community Engagement • Advocacy through various platforms in collaboration with TCDC (social media, community sensitization, male & local leaders involvement) • Series of strategic meetings Government Officials, for lobbying and advocate for policy to enhance midwifery competencies at certificate • Updated website • Recruit more members & strengthen TAMA branches
Public and Community Engagement • Recruitment of CHWs – equip them with advocacy skills and working tools • Community hearing – voices from the community • Increasing community awareness of RMNCAH issues and building the community capacity to advocate for their own RMNCAH needs
National Advocacy and Visibility • TAMA profile and visibility heightened during IDM (showcase midwifery services, recognition by vice president, guest from ICM, SANOFI, MoH) • TAMA – member of MoH Technical groups (Safe- motherhood, FP) • TAMA activities included in the MoH Strategic Plan • TAMA Leaders interviews through various social media (TVs, Newspapers, Radios etc.)
