Project overview The reason for this presentation is to encourage other surveyors to participate in similar projects to produce positive outcomes for people adversely affected by bush fires and other natural disasters. Any Surveyor, at any time, anywhere in the world, after any natural disaster can repeat this project and achieve the same results.

  5. Project overview Aim of the project: To place durable marker stakes next to sub-surface survey marks to prevent their inadvertent removal during post- fire re-fencing.

  46. Conclusion Some of the owners and residents of Mt Tomah, who were adversely affected by the bush fire on 15th December, 2019 have re- engaged with their land through their involvement with surveying and the discovery of the cadastral history of their properties.
