Subjects with admission restriction which applies only at individual universities

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO STUDY IN GERMANY? • All public universities waive tuition fees • Students require: a health insurance premium, semester contribution (range € 38 to € 290) • Student life is cheaper in smaller cities • Students live on an average of € 659/month • International students must provide proof of financial support • Students are allowed to work 120 full days or 240 part time annually

VSY - REQUIEREMENTS • Basic German language skills (at least A2) • Residence outside of Germany • 18-27 years old • Interest in being a volunteer (hospital, kindergarten, retirement home, home for handicapped or homeless people) • Visa • Police clearance
