  10. Eligibility • High School students in grades 11 and 12 – Apply in the spring of the 10 th or 11 th grade year • Minimum GPA 2.5 • Hard working students • Serious interest in pursuing a STEM related degree or certificate

  11. Commitment • Students will follow NOVA calendar schedule • Two summer sessions during HS • Two Academy Courses each semester in 11 th and 12 th grades

  12. Application Process • Phase 1 – Paper application including • Two teacher recommendation forms • Students transcripts/records • Essay • Phase 2 – Testing at high school – Online application to NOVA • Phase 3 – Notification of acceptance – Cohort meeting at each high school
