Neither test is EASIER Every college will accept either test. You don’t need to take both. The best way to decide which test to take is to take a practice test for both and see how you do.

ACT SAT Hard to finish on time. Not as much of a time crunch. In line with “common core” Has Science. Claims it doesn’t have science. Straightforward Reading Focus on History and Social Studies. Passages are more dense. Couplet questions. Math is straightforward but challenging. More mental math. Covers a large range of topics. Section with no calculator. Questions at the end are very hard.
