3 SOUTH KENSINGTON CWG: 18 MAY 2016 Feedback from presentation at Christie’s TfL are responding to the questions received and the report will be circulated Themes Initial response Access to ticket hall Escalators not suitable for this location New entrance from Thurloe Street Support for design approach but reflection of historical Canopy design character needed to address RBKC comments. Design for 2031+30% forecast demand Customer demand Crossrail 2 not expected to impact demand and design Subway demand between 25% and 50% of passengers Emergency exit Proposed on Thurloe Square bridge. Required to meet LFB approval. Used only in an emergency. SFA proposal and SFA provided to all platforms. Coordinated with ASD for timing construction interfaces and funding availability. Disruption during Proposals to be developed as part of next design stage construction

Tim Coleridge and lead planning officer Sian Saadeh Encouraged to reflect existing historical elements within design of platform features Pastiche canopy design not under development Appointed Kit Webb, heritage consultant from Alan Baxter Associates, to develop response to comments
