Out of cycle Employers may make other payments outside of their usual pay cycle such as commissions and bonuses. These payments may be reported by either: Pay event on or before the pay Next regular pay event day you made the payment
Payments in Advance • Where a payment is made to an employee in advance, this generally constitutes a loan and is not a payment subject to withholding at that time. • Where this is the case, they should not be reported through STP until finalised in a pay run and withholding is calculated . • You must consider any FBT implications that may arise from having these types of payments outstanding at the end of the financial year.
Return Messaging/Errors
