Background • Definition: A short-term rental is defined in OCC 743.01 as: … a dwelling unit that is rented, leased or otherwise assigned for tenancy of less than 14 consecutive days duration, where no meals are served. • April 16 – August 16: Grace period of 3 months to register existing short-term rental operations • Online Registration: Outreach done via email to all rental permit owners/contacts – Hosts directed to register online, where they were asked to provide contact info & answers to key questions
