Important Terminology ➢ 1 Semester long “passed” class = 1 credit ➢ 7 periods per day X 2 semesters = 14 possible credits per school year ➢ Freshman Seminar = full year, every other day course focusing on “My Place - My Path - My Future”; develop skills to help navigate a successful HS career; required for graduation ➢ Program of Study = a three course sequence in a chosen Academy; required for graduation

  21. Things to Remember! ➢ Click “Save” at the top ➢ Read Alerts carefully when saving ➢ Must have a minimum of 13 “credits” ➢ Count 14 total classes (7 each semester) ➢ Focus on the next school year for actual registration, but you can add classes for future years as you feel comfortable.

  22. Important Dates ➢ All course requests must be entered by midnight on Friday, February 16th. ➢ Registration Information Night is February 7th, from 4:00-8:00pm. Bring your parents/guardians. ➢ Turn in your registration sheet to your Science teacher (East) or GPS teacher (West). * Visit the High School Registration Page for more information.
