27/06/2018 Vocational Education and Training (VET) • Craigslea SHS is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) • Certificate I Information and Digital Media Technology • Certificate I Skills for Work Craigslea State High School • Certificate II Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways • Partnership agreement with Fit Education RTO • Certificate III in Fitness (VETiS funded) • All units of competency completed = Certificate School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SATs) • SATs allow students in Years 11–12 to enter into a contract of employment with an employer and undertake structured Craigslea State High School training, on and off the job, while continuing to be enrolled at school. • Students spend some time at school, some time at work, and some time at training. 9
