  9. Teacher Work Days and Delay Days Seedlings come to school on teacher work days even though K-12 students do not. On teacher work days all students must bring their lunch to school because the cafeteria is not open those days. This includes the first two days of school: Monday, July 27 th and Tuesday, July 28 th . Also Avon’s e -learning day: November 10 th , and teacher work days January 4 th , January 18 th , and May 28 th . Seedlings also start school at the normal time when K-12 students have a delay day due to teacher professional development. But if you have an older child that is on the delay, feel free to bring your Seedling when you bring your other child to school. Don’t feel like you have to make an extra trip! The only time Seedlings would not start at the normal time would be for a weather related delay or closure. For two hour weather delays, before school care would start at 9.
