LEADERSHIP: OFFICE OF VETERANS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (OVBD) Ms. Barbara Carson, Associate Administrator Ms. Carson oversees the OVBD team in formulating, implementing, administering and promoting policies and programs that equip veteran, service member, and military spouse business owners with counseling and education, access to capital, and contracting opportunities. Mr. Ray Milano, Deputy Associate Administrator Mr. Milano oversees OVBD programs, people, and policies, working to empower America’s veteran small business owners and entrepreneurs. 9

BOOTS TO Market Research • Short, targeted learning modules provide a BUSINESS flexible program creating a customized learning experience best suited for personal schedules FOLLOW-ON and entrepreneurial life. OPTIONS Revenue Readiness • Six-week virtual training program designed to help participants take a business idea from concept to actionable plan in a short timeframe. Business Fundamentals • Thirteen on-demand courses designed for individuals to explore and build their entrepreneurial skills to ensure their success beyond the startup phase. 18
