SPORTS CAMP GROUPS Group 1- Ages 5-7 Group 2- Ages 8-9 Group 3- Ages 10+ Groups vary more by skill as opposed to age
COUNSELORS – IN – TRAINING Counselor-in- Training: “CIT” Leadership and character development program for ages 14 and 15 CITs are NOT counselors, they are paying campers CITs also receive volunteer hours towards their high school quota Almost every camp group will have 1-2 CITs and they wear a different-colored shirt than the counselors Many CITs grow into our counselors, senior camp staff and even camp directors !

MORE LUNCH DETAILS Allergies We are “peanut - aware” not peanut -free Groups eat lunch together (not as one large camp) Lunches are refrigerated Lunch time varies anywhere from 11am-12:30pm depending on individual group schedules Healthy & Balanced Please avoid candy, soda, etc. More about HEPA beads later!

MORNING DROP-OFF THIS IS CRAZY – YES! Morning Drop-off 8:45-9:15am No earlier please – safety of campers is 1 st !! Extended Care = 7:30am Please stay in your vehicles Camp staff will greet your camper in vehicle If you have questions, please pull into a parking spot to walk onto camp

AFTERNOON PICK-UP 3:45-4:15pm This is also CRAZY – YES! Your patience is like gold to us – SAFETY 1 st ! Parent Pick-Up card displayed on vehicle dash EVERYDAY (+ keep photo ID handy just in case) Stay in your vehicles Camp staff will walk your campers to your vehicle If you need to have conversations with camp staff, please park and walk in (with your Parent Pick-Up Card) Please don’t be, BUT if you are late… Your camper will be waiting for you in the Camp Office (Osborn’s Faculty Lounge) Please park and bring your Parent Pick-Up Card with you!
WHEN PLANS CHANGE Late to morning drop-off? Only need to notify us on trip days Please CALL the camp office – do not rely on email for this Need to pick-up early? Hand a note to your camper’s Group Leader Please do not put notes for camp staff in camper backpacks….99% of the time we never receive them You can also call the Camp Office Your camper will be waiting for you in the Camp Office Remember to bring in your Parent Pick-Up Card
EXTENDED CARE Morning Extended Care 7:30am – please not a minute earlier (safety 1 st !) Use Boston Post Road entrance Stay in vehicles and staff will come to you Afternoon Extended Care 6:30pm is the latest Our contract with the Osborn School ends at that time Use Boston Post Road entrance Park around the circle and walk into the MPR with your Parent Pick-Up card in hand Your camper’s location will be available once inside Sign your camper out with the Group Leader
1 st DAY OF CAMP Each Monday… We introduce new campers into their groups Facilitate group games and learn names Tour the camp Swim checks for proper swim lesson placement Note: not all campers swim on their first day
