Rural W-O-W Introduction • Many extensive studies have highlighted the fact that women are the majority gender in rural Africa. • Pilot experiential entrepreneurship training –inspiring self-improvement and empowerment • There is a widespread practice of disrespect uncaring, discrimination, and little access to productive credit assets for rural women.
Rural W-O-W Aims of the Project • Combat negative effects of poverty • Empower women in rural communities • Work with institutions, businesses, government and NGO’s to implement initiatives • Create positive cultural attitudes and mindset • Develop simple practical skills and entrepreneurism that can be accredited for the rural African women
