SUMMARY ITU-T The Havaria Information Service website operated together by: o • the General-Directorate of National Disaster Management (OKF) and RSOE , • in co-operation with the Crisis Management Centre of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs • in co-operation with USGS and SWVRC Provides useful information regarding emergency situations and o their prevention Extraordinary events happening in Hungary , Europe and other o areas of the World are being monitored in 24 hours per day. All events processed by RS OE HAVARIA are displayed real time – for o the sake of international compatibility – according to the CAP protocol on a secure website (https:/ / hisz.rsoe.hu) and on the AlertMap To ensure clear transparency all events are categorized separately o in the RSS directory (e.g. earthquake, fire, flood, landslide, nuclear event, tornado, volcano) RS OE HAVARIA is ready to disseminate the utilization of the CAP o protocol in Hungary I TU-T/ OASI S W orkshop and Dem onstration of Advances in I CT Standards for Public W arning Geneva, 1 9 -2 0 October 2 0 0 6 1 4
