Association of Service Providers for Employability & Career Training ASPECT BC provides leadership, training, advocacy and public awareness in support of its members who provide community-based workforce development services to provide employment opportunities for all. We represent 115 organizations throughout the province.
A regulatory association that certifies and registers technologists and technicians in 18 disciplines and 10 specialty occupations. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) principles are followed. Certification standards are competency-based. Self-assessment of competencies and application are done online. Claimed competencies are verified by subject matter assessors. All applicants receive feedback on the outcome. ITA Registered Assessors Framework To ensure validity and perceived validity of assessor decisions ITA’s Assessor Framework guarantees ongoing assessor competence by setting the criteria below: 1. Meet trade specific training eligibility requirements 2. Complete ITA-approved Assessor training 3.
