EIA Surveys (underway and planned – indicative dates) Geophysical Surveys: October to November 2010 Shipping Surveys & Navigation Risk Assessment: surveys: 1 st survey summer 2011, 2 nd survey winter 2011; hazard workshop Q3 2011, report: December 2011 Gas Platform buffers/Helicopter/Aviation impact Assessment: Q3 2011 Benthic & Intertidal Surveys: April to May 2011 Birds & Marine Mammals Surveys: Aerial (Nov 2010-Oct 2011), Boat (Apr 2011-Sept 2011) Onshore EIA: Tenders received and being assessed; undertaken late February until August 2011 (depending on grid contract signature date) Fisheries Surveys: April and October 2011 MetOcean & Coastal Processes Survey: April to June 2011 Seascape & Landscape Visual Impact Assessment: Tender released early Feb 2011; undertaken April/May 2011 8
S42 Consultation Informal Consultations held in the past 6 months with several statutory and non statutory consultees: - Discussions on their Scoping Opinions - EIA survey methodologies & scope of works circulated to relevant stakeholders - Key communication pathways established Formal Consultations to likely start February 2011 – after grid contract is indicatively signed 28 th January and Section 46 notification to IPC is made - Preliminary Environmental Information document being drafted (summarised Scoping Report including timetable of EIA surveys upcoming/undertaken and results if any) - Draft EIA Chapters to be sent out as soon as surveys and analysis completed.
S47 Consultation - Local Authorities Individual meetings held in November 2010 to discuss their Scoping Opinions and introduce the Statement of Community Consultation process Collective meeting scheduled on February 17 th - To agree on the SoCC contents, methodologies and consultation tools; - to discuss collaboration with DONG and amongst themselves - Framework agreements to support local authorities as a group (e.g. Planning Performance Agreements) SoCC likely to be published end March 2011
