Why Do We Need A New Design?

Enhancement of Current Location of Henry O. Hansen Park  Projected cost of design: $49,200.00  The park was created and dedicated in 2004 with the understanding that the park would be upgraded at a later date. Site currently resembles a bus stop.  The park is not in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  Persons with disabilities can only access part of the park.  The new design would allow for the expansion of the current site by excavating the hill and moving the monument and display vessels to a center focal point.
