Protein Dance Connie Black Elements from Protein Dance: • Scene where couple speaking food words • couple shoving peppers in mouth • cherry tomato pop Concept: Our problems are aired around the dinner table and when preparing food. As well as our relationship with food, our relationship problems arise around food. We also fjght about how food should be cooked. This is scene is set around food prepara - tion and conversation between a couple. But instead of speaking english they are speaking foods. Certain foods hold a certain tone when spoken, with hasrher sounds similar to swear words. As the couple prepare the food, they will move around in a choreographed routine. To prepare the food, i will use animation techniques such as cutting the food with the hands and food that transforms into another when it ex- plodes. As well as causing arguments, food can also solve them, with people often reconciliating over a coffee/food. As the animation progresses, it will start with the woman enquiring the man on his day at work, as they prepare the food things will get a bit heated, leading to one high point with an explosion of food, but ultimately resulting in a resolution over the food.
