Prepare E&E Manufacturers to accept the Industry 4.0 Revolution We will: • • Internet of Things (IIoT) Provide preparatory technology, business, and financial enable 100 companies nationwide • readiness workshop to participants generate 45 IIoT Proof of Concept (POCs) • A IIoT PlugFest is an event based on I4.0 technical pillar 2. Hands-on session on technology implementation in factory showcase 24 use-cases where the engineers and designers try/test the environment • interoperability of IIoT products or designs with those Actual IoT devices setup & implementation hands on session PLUGFEST 2019 • that is similar to their factory environment Data to Visualization hands on tutorial session • Readiness to use example to bring back to factory for PoC APPROVED by GC 1/2019 Meeting This outcome-based program is to nurture 100 3. Consultation session – Engineers-to-Engineers hours • Q & A session by subject matter experts companies, to implement IIoT projects in their factory environment to kick start their I4.0 journey ACTIVITIES/DESCRIPTION OUTPUT: COST Activities and Milestones These events are in support of our KS#3’s initiative to highlight companies The cost will cover 3 PLUGFEST events nationwide that have successfully embarked on, and adopted, Industry 4.0 journey Targeting 100 companies 1. To coach 100 companies to carry out IIoT projects at Timeline for IIoT PLUGFEST 2019 Cost per company= RM3K • their company. Central – Mar 2019 Total breakdown: • 2. KS#3 will work with identified delivery partners to Southern – Jun 2019 Instructors, travel, accommodation & misc = RM15K • organize the PLUGFEST with start-up kits and cloud Northern – Sep 2019 Materials (start-up kits, printed etc) = RM200K • subscription for the Proof of Concept (PoC) East Malaysia - ?? Venue (lab prep, meals, utilities etc) = RM85K 3. Technology principals/Partner will support Grand total = RM300 K participants with the PoC OUTCOME: 4.
