Employer Training Grant Provides reimbursement to employers for training and retaining employees in high- demand, high-wage industries Employers can be reimbursed up to $5,000 for each new or incumbent employee who is trained and retained for six months, up to $50,000 total Jobs must be middle skill in high-demand, high-wage industries that require more than a high school diploma, but less than an associate degree

Increase Completions Grow Hoosier Link • Current Hoosier Link has been in place for 10 years • Students live in IU dorms and take classes on campus at Ivy Tech Bloomington • Students selected from those not accepted to IU on first application • Add new Community Hoosier Link path for students who intend to live off campus • Goal of both paths is a seamless transfer to IU after earning a credential at Ivy Tech • Visit: hoosierlink.indiana.edu

Align Our Programs with needs of Industry Recent addition of automotive program • Approached by area automotive leaders with concern from retirements and no employees to fill voids • Partnered with Hoosier Hills Career Center to use their labs in the evening and over the summer • Anticipate final approvals from State Board of Trustees and Commission for Higher Education soon • Goal is to have first automotive students Summer 2019
