TASSAL � Australia’s seafood industry is worth ~ $3 billion � Wild catch cannot meet growing consumer demands - which is why aquaculture is so important � 60% of Australia’s aquaculture is produced in Tasmania, and prawns and salmon combined represent 70% of the Australian retail seafood category. � Approx. 40k tonne of the 60k tonne of prawns consumed in Australia is imported, farmed is only 4k tonne. � Tassal wants to grow the portion of Queensland prawns consumed to grow the industry Australia’s leading seafood provider and largest producer of fresh salmon products

PRAWN FARM AQUISITION � Tassal acquired the land, assets and inventory of the Fortune Group for $32m � Three prawn farms located at Proserpine and Mission Beach (QLD) and Yamba (NSW) � Tassal committed to a $34 million development program � The aim is to increase yield to 3,000 tonnes pa � Total existing pond infrastructure ~270ha � We will be looking to build from this foundation
