  7. Trade Negotiation Benefits, Outcomes and Impacts Gained: • As private sector is not allowed at the negotiation table, having trade negotiation workshops and simulation gave us better understanding. • In particular, we felt significant improvement was gained during the simulation. • The workshops and simulation encourage us to learn more on trade negotiations, to follow trade news, and to provide our best contribution to the government.

  8. Trade & Investment Facilitation Knowledge and Skills Gained: • Key features of trade and investment facilitation that were overlooked by private sector. • The importance of understanding and utilizing trade and investment facilitation, including their impacts. • Information/details on how other countries utilize the facilitation to gain maximum benefits for business and people.

  9. Trade & Investment Facilitation Benefits, Outcomes and Impacts Gained: • TPSA provides us related information (or links to it) so that we can learn more about trade and investment facilitation, and the facilitators/speakers were open for discussion. • We share the information to our members and enrich each other with the knowledge. • Encourage private sector to start utilizing the trade and investment facilitation to our maximum benefits.

  10. Results of Partnership with the TPSA Project • Information and materials shared to us have improved our skill and knowledge, and triggered us to keep learning and keep ourselves updated. • Learning from the best practices, we felt that our strategies/policies making and productivity have increased. We have also adopted scientific-based approach to contemporary issues (such as, US-China trade war) and help private sector to identify opportunities. • The capacity building experiences have also helped us in conducting PPC with KADIN/APINDO members and the MOT, as well as establishing stronger and closer relation with government officials participating in the workshops.
