  2. What is the PRAC? • Who: A cost shared initiative between the governments of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta with Natural Resources Canada. The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) serves as its secretariat. • Purpose: Building relationships, exchanging knowledge, and developing skills across the Prairie Provinces to prepare for the impacts of climate change.

  3. A Community of Practice • Brings together people from provincial and federal governments, municipalities, Indigenous communities, consulting companies, academia and NGOs. • Hosts workshops, webinars and research forums. • Promotes adaptation tools and highlights examples.
