Think about your interests and research which colleges offer the programs you want to study. 2. LOS RIOS ADVANCED EDUCATION Advanced Education is a program for current high school students who enroll at Folsom Lake College while earning both high school and college credit. The depth of knowledge you will gain from this experience is invaluable! • Students can take 2 classes each semester (Fall, Spring, & Summer) • Must be 16 OR complete Soph. year – 2.7 GPA or above • MOST classes transfer to CSU, UC, private and out of state colleges • Classes are TUITION FREE (small registration fees still apply)* • Receive high school and college credit

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR COURSES 1. APPLY ONLINE TO FLC: Receive your student ID# 2. MEET WITH YOUR HS COUNSELOR: Fill out the Advanced Education Packet • Make sure to get all required signatures and attach required documents. • Submit electronically to Admissions and Records OR deliver in person. 3. EMAIL COMMUNICATION FROM A&R: Approved/Not Approved – 5 business days or less 4. IF APPROVED: Register in person at FLC, EDC, or RCC Admissions w/photo ID. 5. PAY FEES: At the time of registration or in eServices.
