PARTICIPATION ELIGIBILITY Please contact us if you have question about your eligibility and we understand due to Covid-19, certain details on your application may change. 1. Must be a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization or have a fiscal sponsor. 2. Be actively operating and providing program services within Long Beach and/or to its residents. 3. Assign a Long Beach Gives Champion to attend training, preparing promotional items, engages supporters to be peer fundraisers and more (we estimate 20-40 hours) over the next 4-5 months to successfully participate in Long Beach Gives. APPLICATION We shortened the application this year in light of recent events. It should take you less than 30 minutes. 1. There is no save feature so you must complete the application in “one-sitting’ but we have a PDF version of the application for your review. 2. There are character limits on the two-narrative questions: mission statement (500 characters or less) and how you benefit Long Beach (1500 characters or less). 3. Many of the application questions (such as your annual budget or program type category) are to ensure we include a broad range of nonprofits every campaign year.
