RESEARCH COLLEGES What is most important to look for in a college? o Consider the characteristics of the schools that offer your major: o Location o Size o Cost of school (Public vs. Private/In-State vs. Out-of-State) o Student Population o Class size/student/teacher ratio o List, compare, and VISIT those schools (College Website, BigFuture, or In- Person) o Narrow selection down to top 3 or 4 choices
