  2. 2018-19 Strategic Objectives 1. Ofsted 2016: * Improve outcomes for disadvantaged students. * Improve outcomes in academic courses at A Level (quality, assessment, interleaving) 1. A relentless focus on the outcomes of our most vulnerable - DS, Boys, HPA, SEND 2. Improve core standards - behaviour, uniform, punctuality and the quality of tutoring 3. Use the latest research to underpin our developments in T&L ( KO/Do Now/Interleaving) 4. Improve the reading culture of our students and literacy skills across the curriculum 5. Empower our students to engage with and respond to feedback (STAR time / metacognition) . Developing processes which reduce teacher workload.

  3. TRIUMPH

  4. TRIUMPH T - Tutoring: High expectations for tutor time - engaging, thoughtful and a valuable curriculum time. Standards are the same as the best lessons. R - Registers: Registers are up to date for every lesson; mistakes are rare. I - ID Badges: All staff check that our Post 16 students are wearing their identity badge / lanyard at all times, in every lesson. U - Uniform: All staff, every lesson, check that uniform is correct on entry to the classroom. Less than perfect uniform never goes unchecked. M - Movement: Calm, purposeful and punctual to lessons. All staff enforce movement on the left of corridors for safety purposes. Separate KS3/4 entrance to G block P - Punctuality: Students are rarely late to school or lessons (except for bus issues) and poor punctuality is systematically challenged. H - Headphones and mobiles: Never visible between 8.40am and 3.10pm unless in a UYOD lesson or as part of SEND provision.
