Dillehay Courts Model • Partnership with City of Charlotte, Charlotte Housing Authority, Digital Charlotte, and Open Broadband. • Goal: Provide broadband to 100% of residents • Wi-Fi was selected as most cost-efficient approach, with no equipment in residences, and no billing of residents. • IgniteNet and Ubiquiti equipment operates in 60 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands • $7,000 in grant funds paid for the installation and 1 st year of service. Evaluating options to extend.
