What can you do to help keep yourself safe from fire ? ? • Educate your children, make them part of your Fire Safety Plan • Visit the local firehouse, ask Firefighters to put on gear so your child knows they are not something to fear • Install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and change batteries at clock changing times • Have a home exit plan and practice it • Keep fire extinguishers accessible and ready for use • Maintain housekeeping to avoid clutter and potential fire hazards
