Review of NPMK Return to Play Procedures ● Began Three-phase plan for return to play on July 9, 2020 ○ All students and staff complete symptom/temperature check prior to every rehearsal ○ Quarantine students if necessary (including those who travelled to states on this list) ○ Constant communication with staff, students, and parents ○ Mandatory mask use by all students and staff (except woodwind/brass when playing) ■ Investing in bell covers (“instrument masks”) to cover this gap ○ Strict physical distancing enforced at all times (including when marching) ○ Students separated into small, self-contained groups at all times

Review of NPMK Return to Play Procedures (cont.) ○ No shared equipment between students or staff ○ Frequent use of gloves and hand sanitizer when necessary ○ No students in the building except bathroom use (1 at a time) ● NPMK has held 22 rehearsals this summer for a total of 133 hours ○ 0 cases of COVID-19 have been attributed to NPMK rehearsals ○ 1 case that was discussed with the Department of Health

NPMK Plans for 2020 ● Continuation of all current procedures ○ NPMK has a plan for the rest of 2020 that accommodates all of the current restrictions including no building access ● Small Group Virtual Competition ○ Woodwinds (24 students), Brass (24 students), Percussion (21 students), Color Guard (11 students) will rehearse and compete separately ○ Groups will remain separated on campus at all times ○ Performances will be recorded and submitted virtually for adjudication ○ No travel ● Football ○ Performances can be recorded at NPHS in advance and streamed during breaks and halftime on NPTV
