School Reopening Guidance This guidance is based upon these four priorities that we have identified. Safety Education Continuity of Education Family Feedback
Safety Your child’s safety is our first priority. Using the CDC guidelines as our springboard, we decided to take even further precautions to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Continuity of Education The situation with the pandemic is fluid and ever-changing. We are looking to endure not just the safety of our students and their families, but continuity of education regardless of the circumstances that may arise in the future.

FAQs-What happens if someone tests positive for COVID-19 within the school? We will adhere to the guidelines disseminated by the CDC and New Jersey Department of Education.
FAQs- Why is the day Ending at 1pm? We are shortening the day to end at 1pm for several reasons. Students will be cooped up in their classrooms each day. Sitting in the same 6ft square for almost 8 hours a day is not good for their health. We have to avoid the necessity to make wudu in the bathrooms due to limited space in our facility. We need enough time to properly disinfect the entire school daily. We need to offer support for our online learners.
FAQs- If a student is registered for in-school learning, can they swap to remote learning during the year or vice versa? Yes you can switch from in school learning to permanently remote learning. Yes you can switch from remote learning to in-school learning if there is a space in the classroom. Yes you can switch from remote learning to hybrid learning if there is a space in the classroom. Safety is our priority. We will be strictly adhering to class size limitations.
FAQs- Will uniform be required for Remote Learners? On-site students will be required to wear the appropriate uniform. Remote learners will be required to wear Islamically-appropriate clothing in accordance to our uniform guidelines.
YOUR NEXT STEPS The Office will be sending out an emailed survey to determine if your family will be participate in remote, in-school, or hybrid learning. We highly recommend that decisions are made prior to August 17, 2020 so that we can properly prepare for the Fall.
