  3. College Application Process 1. Submit Transcript Request Form with parent signature and $5 to Guidance Secretary 2. Apply directly to college’s website OR use the Common Application at www.commonapp.org 3. Log onto Naviance: https://student.naviance.com/brunswickhs 4. MATCH Common Application to Naviance 5. ADD Colleges to Colleges I am Applying To and follow the prompts 6. Request transcripts be sent 7. Request Teacher Rec Letters through Naviance, BE SPECIFIC! 8. Monitor application materials

  4. Submit Transcript Request Form with parent Step #1 signature and $5 to Guidance Secretary

  5. OFFICIAL OR UNOFFICIAL ▪ For a transcript to be marked OFFICIAL it must go directly from one institution to another institution. Colleges must receive official transcripts. ▪ Transcripts handed directly to students will be marked UNOFFICIAL.

  6. REMEMBER 5 Working Days are required to process applications & transcripts

  7. YOU MUST REQUEST A FINAL TRANSCRIPT BE SENT TO THE SCHOOL YOU WILL BE ATTENDING NEXT FALL BEFORE GRADUATION!!!!

Step #2 Apply directly to college’s website OR use the Common Application at www.commonapp.org The Common Application has 45 Ohio Schools linked to their website MCCC student should list Brunswick High School as their home high School and Jaime Camino as your school counselor Most colleges have an application link on their home website or the admissions office.

  12. Request Teacher Recommendation Letters through Step #7 Naviance, BE SPECIFIC! Do NOT request through Common Application. If you have an outside recommenders, please see your counselor on how to have the information sent to your college/university Step #8 Monitor application materials

  13. When students turn in the Transcript Request form and $5.00, they will receive a written copy of directions on how to use the Naviance Student Website.   32. As the nation’s largest employer, the military offers qualified applicants a good salary, benefits, and free job training. The military also provides discipline and structure, as well as opportunities for career advancement and travel. The military offers training in over 2,000 jobs, most of which have civilian counterparts. Reserves and National Guard As part-time members of the military, enlistees go through basic training and job training After that, they train for two days once a month and for two weeks once a year They are paid for the days they work, and they receive education benefits. The Reserves and the National Guard can be called to active duty when there is a national emergency or in the event of a conflict. The Army National Guard and the Air National Guard also help state governments with natural disasters such as fires and floods, and with conflicts such as strikes and riots.
